Ben Garrett is an award-winning health producer with more than 28 years of experience in broadcast public relations, and a pioneer in healthcare communications on the web. He developed the first health website for the fledgling MSN network and in 1996, he produced the largest medical webcast to that date, with more than 15,000 simultaneous participants for the FDA Approval of “Rilutek” and soon after, one of the first web chats ever from Harvard Medical School. This year he produced a live press conference on the web to launch Tyson’s RWA (“Raised Without Antibiotics) chicken. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Health Academy for the Public Relations Society of America and is co-chair of their 2009 annual meeting.

Sten McKinzie is an award winning multimedia designer with over 15 years experience in graphics, animation and online media. He has served as President of Erickson Multimedia Studios, Inc. or EM Studios since 2003. Over his career in medical multimedia, Sten has directed projects for the biggest names and associations in the medical field, including the American Medical Association and the American Heart Association, as well as for leading pharmaceutical companies like Schering/Plough, including the award winning www.stopgerms.org website. In 2001, Sten received the Guiding Star of Leadership award from Health Answers, Inc., as an instrumental contributor to the healthanswers.com website. Sten continues to stay on the cutting edge of media. He is now exploring the possibilities of medical education through such social computing applications as My Space, Youtube and Second Life.
