Description
Hospital administrators have traditionally made patient care decisions, redesigned processes, and modified services without physician input—then they wonder why physicians fail to follow the new processes or embrace the changes. The only true way to ensure physician support and compliance is to identify and engage physician leadership early in the design process. Early engagement empowers docs to work collaboratively with hospital administration to become program designers, change agents, and key stakeholders in developing the new program or service line. Take an in-depth look at the principles you should follow to engage physicians successfully.
