Janet Guptill, FACHE is a consultant in Witt/Kieffer’s information technology executive search practice, based in Chicago. Janet’s professional experience includes expertise in knowledge management, both with her own consulting firm and for a subsidiary of Ascension Health; sales, marketing and business development functions for two national healthcare decision support companies, Care Science (now part of Premier Informatics) and Sachs Group (now Thompson Healthcare); strategic planning consulting for Ernst & Young; and management experience with the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics and Ochsner Foundation Hospital. Janet is a frequent speaker for the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and the Forum for Healthcare Strategists. Janet’s undergraduate and graduate degrees are in health administration from the University of Arizona and Tulane University, respectively, she serves on a regional medical trust board and was a faculty member of Washington University’s graduate health administration program.

Geoff Kaufmann, FACHE, is the CEO of the North Central Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross. He has held senior level strategic planning and operational positions with Stillwater Medical Group (CAO), Center for Diagnostic Imaging, Arizant Healthcare, Park Nicollet Health System, the University of Minnesota Hospital & Clinic and Hamilton KSA, a national health care consulting company. Mr. Kaufmann has over 32 years experience in operations, business development, strategic planning, marketing and physician relations. He speaks frequently at national healthcare forums and also serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota in the Master’s Program in Health Care Administration and the University of St. Thomas. He is a past president of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and is active in national healthcare associations and corporate boards. Geoff received his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College and his Masters from the University of Chicago.
