Tom Brand founded AVID Design, Inc. in 1996 with the objective of offering expert online and offline interactive services. As agency principal, he provides senior creative direction, guides business strategy, and is active in helping the firm to cultivate new business relationships with both large and small healthcare organizations nationally. Brand has provided strategy, consulting and implementation services for such healthcare groups as Palomar Pomerado Healthcare of San Diego, Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta, Columbus Regional Healthcare, Phoebe Putney and many others. Brand served as VP of Creative Services at Greystone.net (a provider of Internet services and content to healthcare companies). In addition to his agency work, Brand has instructed New Media courses at Atlanta’s acclaimed Portfolio Center, and is a frequent speaker at industry events. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Art and Illustration from Carson-Newman College. An instrument-rated private pilot, Brand also volunteers services to Angel Flight of Georgia.

Andy Darnell is Director of Web Development at AVID Design. As a Web Strategist, Andy has garnered extensive experience in the cultivation and maintenance of search engine marketing campaigns, as well as expertise in analyzing Web statistics for use in refining and improving target traffic. During his tenure at AVID Design, he’s managed large-scale Web and CMS based projects, as well as multi-media projects for numerous healthcare organizations; such as Palomar Pomerado Health, Mayo Clinic, Columbus Regional Health, The Reading Hospital, and Cape Cod Health, among others. In his free time, He also manages a Web Analytics blog, and holds a degree in business management from Georgia State University.
