Jill Stratton is a consultant with the Corporate Health Group and has worked at the senior level of healthcare outreach and sales program development, training and management for over 20 years. Her experience is in building and managing outreach and sales programs, as well as leading hospital executives, physicians and boards in strategic development. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Indiana University and has served as faculty and presenter for several healthcare societies and associations, such as AHA Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD), Child Health Corporation of America (CHCA), Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA), Ryan-NAOHP, and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

Tess Niehaus is Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Physician Services at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis. She formerly served as Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Physician Services for Christian Hospital, a member of BJC HealthCare, and served for many years as the Corporate Director of Marketing for BJC‘s corporate office. Ms. Niehaus has 30 years of experience in healthcare marketing and sales, including working in the healthcare division of Procter and Gamble, Inc., and Pfizer Laboratories.

Description
Marketing and business development have taken on the challenge of managing the function of sales and service staff focused on external customers. This function continues to be unique within a healthcare environment and requires different infrastructure and staff management systems. Through real-life management stories of sales and service staff, techniques, strategies, and tactics and the application of best practices with proven success will be demonstrated.
