Tiffany Owens is a senior consultant with Talent Plus with over 12 years of human resources experience. Her human resources background includes director and regional leadership positions with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and Starbucks Coffee Company. Having worked for many years in the service industry, Owens has firsthand experience in setting and executing strategies to reduce turnover, increase retention of top talent, increase customer and associate satisfaction, as well as, improving overall ROI. She has several years of experience with Talent Plus’ Science of Talent as both a client and consultant. Owens works as a strategic partner with Talent Plus clients, helping them actualize the impact the right talent can have on their organization’s ability to successfully develop, invest and grow a talent pool that can positively influence the profitability their business. Her consultation has helped clients to integrate the Talent Plus Science into their culture thus building Talent-Based Organizations who are industry leaders within healthcare, retail and hospitality. Cami Wacker
Gerard van Grinsven joined Henry Ford Health System in June 2006. He has more than 24 years of global experience in the luxury hospitality industry with experience in operational, corporate and general management positions. Before coming to Henry Ford, he served as vice president and area general manager for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, managing the Ritz-Carlton hotels in Dearborn, Cleveland, St. Louis and Philadelphia.
During his career he has opened 20 Ritz-Carlton properties worldwide. He was a key member of the team responsible for the company winning the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 1999. He also executed The Ritz-Carlton Re-Born project, which resulted in The Ritz-Carlton in Dearborn being the #1 hotel in the company for improved guest and employee satisfaction scores. Van Grinsven also has served on the HFHS Western Wayne/Downriver Board of Trustees.
