Suzanne Dewey, Principal at Forté Partners, LLC, is a business development and marketing consultant. She focuses on helping organizations grow and flourish while defining their competitive distinctiveness. Suzanne has experience with multiple organizations within the healthcare spectrum including hospitals, medical clinics, private practices, new ventures and even a hospital association. Suzanne helps organizations create customer-focused strategies along with the tactical plan required for achievement. She has implemented physician relations, physician recruitment, marketing, customer relationship management and business development programs. Prior to consulting, Suzanne worked in marketing, planning, physician relations and recruitment at a community hospital and an academic medical center. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College and graduated from Boston University with an M.B.A. in health care management.

As Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center’s Associate VP of PR & Marketing, Susan McBurney is responsible for all corporate communications activities including marketing and communications planning, corporate identity standards, program development, customer relationship marketing, physician liaisons, BestHealth, worksite wellness programs, service line marketing and PR, market research, website content development, advertising and publications, internal communications, news/media and design/production. She has worked at the medical center in a variety of marketing and planning roles for 16 years. Early in her career she lived in Germany for five years and worked as an office manager and translator for the IRS at the U.S. Embassy in Bonn and the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft in Cologne. She holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a B.A. from Northwestern University.
