Preston Gee is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Marketing for Trinity Health. Gee is a thought leader and frequent speaker at national health care forums. Over the course of his 20-year career, he has published more than 250 articles on operational strategy, and he recently completed his ninth book, Service Line Execution 2.0: Advanced Strategies for Progressive Hospitals. His career includes senior director at Phase 2 Consulting in Houston, Texas, and senior vice president of strategic planning for St. David’s Healthcare Partnership in Austin, Texas. Preston started his career with The Quaker Oats Company in marketing and new product development. He holds BS and MBA degrees from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and is a past recipient of Modern Healthcare’s “Up and Comer’s Award.”

Jeff Couzens is Director of Marketing for Trinity Health. He is responsible for supporting market-facing growth initiatives and developing related marketing infrastructure, with a particular focus on brand strategy, market research, CRM, and portal development. During his 12-plus years in healthcare, Jeff also has held roles in corporate communications at a six-hospital health system in Traverse City, MI and in market analysis at the U.S. Dept. of Labor in Washington, D.C. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in administration from Central Michigan University.
