Description
This presentation from the University of Wyoming will show functional users of Banner how a Job Submission process can be setup securely in INB that can be used to execute any SQL query, allowing bind variables for the query to be entered as parameters to the process, and create a report containing the results of the query in a delimited format. Setting up this process that can be re-used makes it very quick and easy to add new reports that contain the results of any other SQL query. Automating the process and delivering the reports to the end users who need them can be achieved so that end users have their reports waiting for them in their inbox or on a network share when they arrive at their desk each morning. Using other products like Evisions FormFusion, which already handles CSV files easily, the delimited reports from the process can be enhanced to create PDF documents and email individuals in the report.
