Description
The purpose of prospect management is to track which entities in your database are identified as prospects (whether they are major gift, planned gift, leadership annual donors and whether they are corporate/ foundation entities or individuals), why they are prospects, what their giving capacity is, how inclined they are to give to you, for what purpose, who is responsible for engaging them with the institution, at what stage are they in the cultivation/solicitation process, and eventually what funding proposals are they being asked to consider and at what stage are they in that consideration. This session will introduce this process and review some of the techniques, coding, and reporting that will assist your institution in managing your prospects.
