Description
Every institution has manual processes for the routing of information on paper for review and approval, and Pima Community College is no exception. Too often paper sits on someones desk delaying the approval process or even becomes lost entirely. People become frustrated when they lack up-to-the-minute information about the location of the paper in the routing process.
By designing and implementing transparent Workflow applications, document creators, reviewers, approvers, and other stakeholders can know the exact status of that important information being routed around your institution. Authorized staff and administrators can see who is reviewing it and how much farther it has to go. Using Workflow and other tools, Pima Community College has transformed approving adjunct contracts, changing curriculum information, requesting access to Banner, and routing electronic personnel action request forms.
Learn from our experience in replacing paper routing processes with faster and more transparent Workflow applications. Learn when Workflow is appropriate to replace paper processes, what considerations impact the use of Workflow, and how well half a Workflow application performs. Join us in this informative session describing the design and implementation of Workflow applications to replace manual paper processes.
