Virginia Tech has been in production with Employee Self-Service Labor Redistributions for over two years and hope to be paralleling Self Service Effort Reports in the Spring of 2012. Both have presented victories and challenges which will be covered in this session. This session will not include an overview of every rule and validation form, but will discuss some of the forms where you have to make decisions that set your direction. Examples will be shared with how Virginia Tech set our direction to make the rules work for us. Additionally, some of the 'gotchas' in Labor Redistributions will be shared, along with a modification we made that helps our 400+ users determine the correct percentage splits for those mid-pay period labor redistributions.
