As an increasing number of institutions/corporations have begun accepting electronic transcripts, it's time for you to start providing them for your students/former students. This session will detail Colorado State University's implementation of providing electronic transcripts, which is not only saving our school considerable time and money, as well as providing our students/former students with a better service; but also allows us to feel good about going green! The change to providing electronic transcripts may sound daunting at first, but it can actually be done in a timely, efficient time frame. This session will touch all the bases - from automated ordering on the web, to order information automatically processed into Banner, to the automated creation of the actual transcripts, and to the safe and secure electronic delivery of the transcripts. We'll also discuss issues related to processing/receiving electronic transcripts, as well as delivery options and pricing. CSU has partnered with eScrip-Safe / Transcripts On Demand to affordably implement this solution that has turned out to be a win-win for both the university and our students. This session should be of interest to Registrar Office staff, and/or anyone else working with/overseeing the current paper transcript generation process at your institution.
