Description
In these turbulent financial times, it is imperative that good communication strategies are employed when it comes to navigating through the financial aid process. Tarleton State University was able to create awareness of financial aid opportunities as well as facilitate the packaging and processing of financial aid and scholarships by utilizing the Banner Relationship Management solution. Through this proactive effort to make this cumbersome process more streamlined, we were able to use the ISIR data as a recruiting tool for those who had not yet applied for admission to the university as well as increase completion rates of our applicants which facilitated overall yield of our applicants. By using the Recruiting and Admissions Performance (RAP) solution, customized reports were created and delivered daily to the financial aid counselors so that they could monitor new students' progress. In addition, reports were created that monitored packaging activity and helped identify areas that needed early intervention. With the expansion of personalization and financial aid in Relationship Management 1.4, we are continuing to expand our focus in the area of financial aid and scholarships. This is suitable for strategic as well as functional users.
