The SUNY SICAS Center has implemented Subversion to help manage Banner code modifications. We'll share what we did, why it's beneficial and why you should consider implementing SCM for Banner. Looking at Banner 9 and beyond shows that the source code will be more complex and possibly more difficult to manage. SCM can help.
