Description
Data integrity continues to be one of the most critical components of the success of any fund and friend raising effort. As technologies change and the number of data points to be captured increases, often times data integrity is left behind until data quality becomes a significant problem resulting in non-delivered communications, reporting nightmares, and lack of overall confidence in the integrity of Advance. This session will consider an overall strategic approach to data integrity as well as individual tactics for accurate data at all points in the process. Specific topics include the following:
- Keys to success for acquiring data from constituents and vendors
- A framework for identifying and eliminating data integrity issues
- Technology solutions including an application of the Advance framework which allows for the enforcement of any business rule at the time of entry
- Review of external challenges to data integrity and how changing trends might affect data quality efforts
- Discussion of planning for the future
