Description
As your use of BRM grows, there are several areas where you may be looking to streamline as well as customize. Would you like to have a better way to keep track of and manage security in BRM? This session will examine ways that you can more effectively manage role-based security, customize the BRM template editor to create custom layout templates, and create custom expression attributes in the Expression Builder. The benefits of Role-Based Security, best practices in designing custom security roles, and the effective use of reports to streamline Security Role management will be examined. Detailed queries used to build reports will be shared, including a demonstration of how these reports can be implemented in tools such as Microsoft Excel and Crystal Reports. Would you like to have a way to customize your templates to brand your communications consistently? This session will describe a simple and painless modification Oral Roberts University has made to the template editor in BRM to facilitate branded email communications to save time and effort when building campaigns. Would you like to be able to add your own attributes to the Expression Builder to reduce the gaps in BRM where SQL expressions are needed? This session will examine the technical aspects of designing these datablocks and correctly adding the necessary entries into the BRM Expression Builder. As a practical demonstration, the steps necessary to implement a Radius Search will be examined.
