Description
Florida Gulf Coast University is utilizing the Banner Relationship Management to improve communication between the University and prospective and new students. Precise and timely communications to prospective students and applicants is very important, not only for the student, but also for the Admissions staff. By implementing the Banner Relationship Management, we have greatly reduced hours spent trying to notify students individually. Our processes have been streamlined across the department and with other departments going from an entirely manual process to the ease of pressing a button. In this session, we will review the steps FGCU took to make for a smooth and relatively low stress Go Live date without reorganization of staff. We will share the lessons we learned and what steps we take each time prior to pushing that campaign button. PLUS we will tell you the "things they never told us" so you are confident and ready to kick off your campaigns with finesse and ease. After launching your first email campaign, you need to be prepared to manage the replies. Learn how the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) manages email with watch lists. Also, UIC has created a set of procedures and tools for working bounced and orphaned email. We will share how you can manage e-mail replies with a team of staff members. Join us and learn why we now cannot wait to communicate!
