This session will explore Liberty University's verification process using SunGard's Banner Financial Aid and Extender products. As schools are well aware, the Department of Education is altering the verification process, this presentation is designed to discuss how Liberty is managing the significant new hurdles. Not only will the presentation cover the set up and efficiencies gained with strong electronic processes, but will also review the regulatory environment as the Department of Education uses its new found flexibility to alter the verification requirements. Lastly, this session will present future ideas for verification processing and thoughts on the 2013-14 school year.
