Track : Database Marketing Strategies
Program Code: 134

Time: 1:45 PM to 3:00 PM
Location: Lagoon K
SPEAKER (S):
Chris Duncan, Director of Marketing, OfficeMax

Description
Customers and prospects send "signals" every day. These signals provide clear and discernible opportunities for companies to provide relevant messages. When delivered in a timely fashion, these messages deepen customer relationships by meeting customer and prospect needs while the need is present.

So the question is, how do you identify and capture these "signals," and act on them quickly? The answer is to establish an Automated / Triggered Marketing system. Once in place, this system analyzes data on a continuous basis, looking for the "signal behaviors" that indicate a good marketing or customer service opportunity. Then, it automates the delivery of the right message through the optimal channel -- and tracks results.

This session covers:

- Introducing and selling the solution to executive management
- Identifying the "best" automated marketing opportunities through analysis
- Building the process to surface trigger opportunities
- Examples of acquisition, cross-sell and retention triggers
- Arbitrating between multiple opportunities and channels
- Conversion reporting and testing
- Building the business case

Attendees will come away with an understanding of the benefits of Automated /Triggered Marketing along with the foundational knowledge to bring this to their organization.
