Description
The combination of unlimited choice and the ability to find anything and everything quickly has shifted the power from marketers to consumers. Google, Yahoo!, shopping comparison sites and peer reviews have all contributed to empowering
consumers in the marketing process, and the new empowered consumer is taking the initiative. On any given day in the U.S., there are almost 2 billion website visits, 200 million inbound calls and 600 million retail visits. This is a total of 2.8 billion consumer initiatives per day. Twice the number of television programs viewed in a day!
This presentation will define Four Transitions that you can make to manage the new balance of power. Plus, 10 action items that will help your company profit from this new era of marketing. Mr. Wardell has focused on improving marketing efficiency over the past 30 years. He has founded three marketing companies and worked for several marketing leaders, including R.L Polk & Company, Equifax and National Decision Systems. Most recently, he founded Exmplar, Inc., dedicated to providing relevant, multichannel communications for clients such as Staples, HSN Improvements, Kraft-Gevalia, and New Line Cinema.
Over the years, his clients have included Toyota Motor Company/Lexus Division, Merrill Lynch, Federated Department Stores, Bell South, 1-800flowers.com, Omaha Steaks and Procter & Gamble.
