Loren McDonald has 24 years of experience in marketing, consulting and strategic planning. Prior to Silverpop, he was vice president of corporate communications at Lyris, Inc., and had served as vice president of marketing at EmailLabs. McDonald was founder and president of Intevation, an e-marketing services firm specializing in email and search engine marketing services. He's held executive marketing positions at companies including USWeb/CKS, NetStruxr and Arthur Andersen.
McDonald is a columnist for Media Post Email Insider and a former ClickZ Email Delivery columnist. He is co-chair of the eec's Measurement Accuracy roundtable and is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences and events and is often quoted in the press. In 2005, he was selected Marketing Executive of the Year by the American Business Awards (the Stevie's). An industry newsletter he launched in 2003 has won seven awards including Best B2B e-newsletter from MarketingSherpa and the ClickZ Marketing Excellence Award.

Dori Thompson, Strategic Relationship Manager, Silverpop
Dori Thompson has been with Silverpop for more than five years and works closely with many of Silverpop’s top strategic clients, providing them with consulting and email expertise. Prior to this role, Thompson was a senior email communications strategist at Silverpop, specializing in strategy, privacy and permission best practices, and analysis of integrated email marketing programs.
Prior to Silverpop, she worked with a state-of-the-art media communications company specializing in VDP, using variable data technologies to create personalized and customized direct and web-based mail campaigns. She was instrumental in adding an email marketing technology platform to their core services and integrating client campaigns across multiple channels.
Thompson was formerly with Bigfoot Interactive as an Account Manager and Account Director. As an account manager, her responsibilities included day-to-day management and growth of key accounts, developing strategic marketing recommendations and educating clients in email best practices, testing and analytics. As account director, Thompson created new relationships in numerous verticals, providing strategic marketing consulting services for key and new clients.
