Part I: Familiarizing Yourself with the Mobile Marketing Landscape



In Part I of the intensive mobile marketing workshop you'll be introduced to the mobile marketing landscape and ecosystem of players, a landscape that can be quite confusing if you do not have a map to help you navigate it. We'll define mobile marketing, review mobile marketing strategy, tactics, and objectives, as well as provide you with an overview of key players within each sphere of the mobile marketing ecosystem. You'll also be introduced to various ways to monetize the mobile channel. You'll learn how to identity, qualify and select strategic partners and how to select from the various options for deploying mass and niche market campaigns. We'll even touch on the intricacies of launching global mobile programs. This session will wrap up with a keynote from a leading mobile marketing practitioner , who will leave you with critical success factors for successfully launching mobile marketing initiatives from the publisher's/brand's prospective.
