Synopsis:
An OSAP-sponsored course featuring four nationally recognized dental assistants who are experts in infection control and safety. They will provide a fast-paced overview on four major areas that can make the biggest difference in improving the health and safety in the dental practice.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Dressing for success in the dental office—appropriate hand hygiene steps and PPE selection in segment
2. How to process instruments for maximum safety and efficiency
3. How to implement a postexposure management program that works—what to do when the unthinkable happens
4. What to include in the annual infection control update-a training guide for dental assistants

This course is presented in partnership with the American Dental Assistants Association.
